I guess you were right
There's no point in lingering for days
Let's be civilized
Untie my hands and let me walk around
Oh, and catch my breath
There's no going back
You are here and this is really happening
You're standing right there
Is this going just the way you'd imagined,
from the smell in the air to the look on your face?
There's sweat in my eyes
Do you think you can do something about that?
There's a little bit of light
creeping through the cracks around the door
And then I close my eyes and remember
the way your heart slows in December
And how you metabolize and squint your eyes
All this life outside this little room
Think about the things that I have told you
We're getting on so well I feel like I know you
Is that part of the plan?
Life inside an elephant
Altering your present tense
Hesitantly permanent
Are you really one of them?

one of my all time favorite albums, I have it on vinyl and CD but had to get it on band camp too because I need a back up in case something were to happen to my physical copies, it is an absolutely lovely album, I don't think there's an album I've listened as welcoming as this one, it's plays like it's good friend, it always sounds familiar but but never old, I've been coming back to this album for a couple years and everytime I actively enjoy it from front to back and never feel the need to skip a track, thank you for making this delightful album Jacob Lusinski
