According to our records
you're moving against the grain
You're filling your nights and days
with nothing but blue, green, and grey
And what's that right in front of you?
An open door
You're noticing the cracks
in the floor more and more each day
When the trouble starts
up come the walls around your heart
Can it do you any good to be carved out of wood
when you're left out in the rain?
She was a sinister sister,
can you forget her?
We get the feeling this isn't the first or last
You're choosing just to sleep all day
and creep around at night
And you've been reading every book
you've been meaning to your whole life
And what's that right behind you?
Love and hate, a bed unmade
You learned to reciprocate
What you got you gave
And every battle lost you the war

one of my all time favorite albums, I have it on vinyl and CD but had to get it on band camp too because I need a back up in case something were to happen to my physical copies, it is an absolutely lovely album, I don't think there's an album I've listened as welcoming as this one, it's plays like it's good friend, it always sounds familiar but but never old, I've been coming back to this album for a couple years and everytime I actively enjoy it from front to back and never feel the need to skip a track, thank you for making this delightful album Jacob Lusinski
